Dudley Elementary and Gothenburg Junior High and High School
Thank you for visiting my site! My name is Ms. Teresa Messersmith and I am a Principal at Dudley Elementary and the Special Education Director for District #20.
I have been in education since 1982 when I began teaching special education. All 25 of my teaching years have been in special education, but I also taught middle school math and English and co-taught middle school science. I received my undergraduate degree in K-12 Special Education, Early Childhood Handicapped and Elementary Education. In 1991, I received a masters degree in special education with an emphasis in learning disabilities. I am currently pursuing an administrative degree which will be completed in December of 2010.
One of my greatest pleasures comes from working with children and their families to provide the best possible educational opportunities. I enjoy watching students become excited about knowledge and learning.
